Crosby is Out NOW !!!

No way Flitters goes from part time, to full time, to no time in a few months. He's the expert at selling long term plans, so he'll be around for the long haul. Our recruitment has been getting better, with a few howlers thrown in, so hopefully the manager gels with the vision. Either way, I can't see the long term strategy changing.

Obviously we need to get someone in the Manager's seat immediately to handle the day to day coaching issues but we aren't going anywhere without funding. Hopefully that nice Mr. Williams is going to help with that, as it seems to me that the Shanahan's have emptied their piggy bank making the ground improvements and that there's nothing else left for the team.

I said it on here after Stevenage knocked us out of the cup, we get Steve Evans in and we are having a pop at the pay offs. No doubt about that

You should become director off football!!!!

I've come to the same conclusion. Its his mess and he needs to sort it out.

True he should sort it out, he has been a large part of creating this mess.

However if we give it to him instead of a better option out there, we could well be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Relegation is a very real prospect now. We need to get the best person in to avoid that.

I don't think that is Flitcroft

He did. This all indicates to a bust up later that day.

Does seem to point to that. Notice on that statement there’s no words from Flitcroft or Carol for that matter thanking him for his time here like he’s done when players have left. Maybe reading too much into it but guess one scenario is Croz just reached breaking point after training with what he’s had to work with and said a few home truths to his superiors. Timing of it all is curious.

Possible, no doubt it will leak out in time.

Playing devils advocate did some players go to see Carol/Flitcroft Monday after training and voice their opinion. I've had a feeling since Ojo did his last interview that he wasn't fully on board with AC game plan. As you say it'll probably all come out in the wash.

Why not? It's his squad and he has all the answers??

He's not daft. Hopefully he'll find someone who is daft enough to take the job, but also happens to be a really good football manager.

Serious alarm bells should be going off for carol atm. Its the second time in 2 years that weve had a stinker of a January. All under flitcrofts watch. To sack a manager 4 days after a window when weve been crap for months is complete and utter negligence. Then to not even strengthen in the areas we desperately needed is absolutely mind boggling.

from a fans perspective we could tell this was going to happen cheap appointment i think most people would of said before a ball was kicked that Crosby wouldn't of made it till the end of season. After Cheltenham fans could see then that crosby had to go. Fans could see we desperately needed a wb and st. And they havent been brought in.
why is everything so clear to us fans but to our dof hes making the wrong decisions at every turn. Its glaringly obvious hes out of his depth.

This is ofcourse just my opinion but I have been tracking transfer windows since Flickcroft came in;

I have 2 bad signings in the summer of 2021, 3 in the winter of 2022, 10 in the summer of 2022, 1 in the winter of 2023, 7 last summer and 3 this winter with lots of question marks.

In my opinion, our recruitment is getting worse with a few lucky punts thrown in.
