Spot on. From controlling the game and being comfortable to losing, all because of the subs.

You can argue whether it's Crosby's fault for making the changes or Flipchart's fault for signing such dross but either way, it's embarrassing. I said as soon as I saw Arblaster and Devine coming off that we would lose control of the middle. I said as soon as I saw Loft walking up for a pen that he's missing it. How can everyone else see what a professional football manager can't? Seething.

I said then, as an average, clueless fan, that we'd lose control and probably concede at least 1. Stevenage are a decent side and the ball was coming back at us over and over again. If I could see it, how could Crosby, Schofield, Dunn, Nash, or the analysts not see it? Why on earth sub your best players for a centre half and a teenager? This isn't a hindsight moan - I complained about it as it happens and watched with grim resignation as we lost control

It's just further evidence that he isn't a manager. His in-game sense is not good. His instincts are way off. The bloke's a decent coach, but the average fans around me wouldn't have made that incredibly daft sub tonight.

Awful, awful, awful.

Substitutions were a nice early xmas present from AC to Evans.

He doesn't have the knack.

He knows all the theory of management, but he just isn't great at the 'doing' part of it.

Of the 2,000 in there tonight, not one would have made those subs. 

I'm not sure what further evidence we need at this stage that he isn't up to it. Nicking a win at the only side in worse form than us with an offside set-piece goal is overwhelmed by months of losses and poor management.

I dont see point in blaming loft for missing penalty. Not his fault. Its on crosby. Lottery shootouts are garrity missed also dont forget. Loft does not deserve slating for a penalty miss. He should be celebrating scoring the winner he did his job. But yet again we threw it away.
