The problem is up top. No target man means not enough goals to compete. A team can score one goal and we can have more possession as we often do and we won't win. It's pretty simple goals win games. Uche and loft need to start scoring.

We need a good striker in January to be safe even if loft and uche start scoring. We need better defenders. We can't rely on ripley to stop all are defensive blunders.

I see in his post match last night evans said he had a coffee and a long chat with Carol before the game?

I've listened to his post match chats in all the games against us and he's spoken so well about us. I've almost come to respect him.

I think we should get back to reality. Crosby is in charge for the next few games and continues to have an opportunity to succeed.

I'm alarmed by what happened last night. I just watched Newcastle and they gassed. That's because their available players have played too much. So now we face a fresh Wigan with it likely to be a similar challenge Newcastle faced tonight.

I thought it had been reported a number of times that Carol's & Steve Evans have got a great relationship. Not sure how or why that's come about but they get on really well

Brian, I didn’t know that. If so then I question her judge of character and why has it been made public. I consider it both unnecessary and unhelpful and the timing is shocking.

Our next director of football?

Again, with everything I say on here I would be very much in the minority (probably on my own) but I would love see a Steve Evans being the next Vale manager.

He get's his teams promoted. He get's them fit, playing exciting football (see Tuesday night) and takes no prisoners.

We would easily finish in the top half of the table and maybe the top 6 with him at the helm.

He's one of those people that people <ovf censored> hate him unless he's part of your team

He wouldn’t be top of my list but I agree he is a good manager. He has winning mentality rather than our nice team mentality.

Million % upgrade on Crosby as manager and maybe wouldn’t need DOF as well with that type of manager.

He hasn’t managed to beat Port Vale, a team managed by Andy Crosby in 3 attempts. No thanks.
