Edit: Just checked - 58 players in 2 years and 51 weeks.

On average we've signed a player every 2.7 weeks since he came in.

There are three acceptable reasons. First we got promoted in 2021/22 and needed new players at a higher level. Even after building up the team we werent good enough and lucky to avoid relegation in 2022/23 prompting more change. We are making max use of players on loan. They are often changed at each window and especially young players.

Getting rid of Tommy won’t free up any cash he’d just signed his first pro contract. Burnley’s academy is at a higher level than that of ours, so good luck Tommy, So he’s gone to play boys football, when we all say that young players need to play men’s football to improve, hence all the lads who go out on loan to L1 and L2 clubs. You can’t have it both ways. 
I just hope that in the next 2.5 hours they pull off a miracle because it seems like we’re just selling what we own and renting replacements. This is fine if the replacements are better but it’s a short term solution because come next season when they’ve all returned to their parent clubs we’ll be left with nothing unless we get another Devine or Arblaster.
