Sutton Utd (H) EFL Cup match thread Sep 26th

Featured Replies

I find iPlayer reliable these days. Wirral, UK. I'm going to this game live though.

In general I will pay for a video game if I can't go. But I'm not interested in paying for audio coverage. Text on the Sky App is as exciting as audio! BBC commentary on a video game is OK.

Don't think so.....

I paid for my first i play match v Burton & paid £10. The picture was freeze free and much better quality than I expected.....

They had an offer on to pay £45 for the entire season's remaining home games. As there's x19 of those to go I'm DEFFO taking them up on this offer pre Bolton next Saturday. Just £2 odd to watch a live game from your own living room seems amazing value to me!!

(I DON'T work for i player BTW)....🤣

Would be nice to know if the Vale benefit at all from my subscription??

You can get audio only through iFollow (£2.50).  Choose either Radio Stoke’s or Sutton’s local BBC radio commentary.  I did it for the Crwho game in the last round.

Pretty sure they do get a kick back from iFollow subs. 👍🏻

This is a cup competition we can win. Don't play a weakened team so that we mess up on beating a PL side at a big ground n the next round.

Hang on Warren, what happened to the FLT being the only trophy we could win - fact ! ?

Yes, I guess I've had too many coffees. Worse I'm off out for a pint of Hydes Lowry with lunch, so my judgement ain't going to improve today.

We would need the Trophy Club  members to knock each other out, including the new member Newcastle, for an ordinary club to have a chance of a cup other than the FLT.

Didn’t realise Sutton were bottom of league 2. This would be so Vale to lose. Really hope we take them seriously as we should.

100% classic Vale that 😆 ... hopefully get at them, score early and enjoy the evening.

Get the job done Vale. Big draw next round.

It's up to folk turn up tues .

I'll be looking at the attendance and going well that's the  amount of Vale support in the area who want to get to fourth round .

If crowd sub 5000 I'll be disappointed .

Let's pack the park the best we can .

Imagine getting through drawing a biggie then selling out Bolton at home.

That be some week that's why I was annoyed at that equaliser yesterday it would have been a great week if everybody did there job they didn't they scored

Every Vale fan feels this because its our DNA. This is why, unlike the entitled clubs fans, not many of us will be saying "teams like Sutton"  As one of the greatest players to ever lace a pair of boots used to say "footballs a funny old game" and no one knows it more than we do. Having said that, we have a golden opportunity to progress to something that has potential to financially change our season, as well as put on a sparkling performance on against a factually lesser team.

No slip ups on Tuesday, please Vale. Get this done efficiently professionally.

They drew 1-1 with franchise yesterday, before that they'd lost 7 league games in a row. Winning this game is potentially a financial golden ticket we cannot squander.

hammer them and send them back on hs2! (oh no, theyve cancelled hs2)!!!:drink:

Can we have our first comfortable win of the season, please? Hope for a clean-sheet and a few goals. They'll no doubt try to make it as physical and scrappy a game as possible.
