Given the current state of Sheffield Utd, I hope they don’t even think of recalling Arblaster….

I don’t see how pulling him into that situation would help his development tbh. Just bad for his morale and could knock his confidence.

I agree - hopefully they think the same!

Or lining up against world class players every week and playing at places like Anfield & Old Trafford could be one hell of an experience for him that would make him thrive

Definitely depends on the player’s character, but for me I wouldn’t want a vale youth player coming in when we’re getting battered week in week out and then relegated. Prem is also a huge step up for him. If he went there and struggled, in a team going down, might really knock him. Not worth the risk imo.

I think he's got the character to deal with a team struggling each week.

If he did get a chance in the Premier League, he may even get picked up by a Premier League team at the end of the season.

All depends on what Sheffield United want to do really but if he keeps playing like he is then we need to keep everything crossed for 31 days in January

Seems more likely the recall him and send him to the championship, which I definitely do think he’s ready for. I’m quite concerned they’ll recall him tbh

Unfortunately I don't think ifollow show carabou cup games.😫

They do still do audio coverage through the ifollow

Burton was a banana and I was positive. This time not so. I hope we are not as toothless and can bang some goals in but I feel a 1-1 result.

Att: 4,650.

Can they recall him b4 January 1st  , anybody know?

No. Window is shut so he can’t play for anyone other than Port Vale until the window opens.

I expect he may be recalled and if so we just have to enjoy him whilst he’s here.

Worrying, this is something that many a Blades fan are ALREADY asking for in these parts....😬😬

£10 bet deposited with Ladbrokes on a Vale win.

UTV and KTF

In last round we played the likes of Lowe and Walters .

Be interesting see who he selects .

It's a very big game for me bigger than the Bolton one, because the prize on offer could attract more folk to the ground, more floaters etc , if we are drawn at home again if we get through or even away if get someone like Man Utd and give a fantastic account of ourselves if could bring in that extra few thousand to get closer to 10 thousand averages that CS/KS  deserve and would like .

So here's my team we gotta make sure we give no leg ups, because yes the outcome means a lot to us ,but there's another team/Supporters who have already beaten league 1 teams on there way to this game v us Suttons .

We need every person who's attending be bang up for it so if usually a fan /follower who sits there quietly then I want see passion from you also not just the 11 plus subs  who are playing .

How much do you want it .

Well I want it badly .

Big night in Burslem awaits .

My team

        Ripley

   Cass Lowe Jones Icavetti

          Ojo Arblaster Grant

         Thomas Wilson Devine .

It's a 4 -3 -3 with the emphasis on quality throughout  the field .

I've gone 4 at the back because we are a bit soft at the back, between the lines and it must be eradicated especially against Sutton who will love it if we give them opportunities like we gave Burton and the only times when balls come in v Cambridge for the goal icavetti snd Plants communication was poor ,by looks of it well we cannot afford do it tomoz so the four at the back eradicates the space to do it .

I wouldn't be weakening the midfield ,and Devine Wilson and Thomas should have the pace and quality really get about Sutton especially if Wilson slips in balls like the one for Plant v Northampton which he should have just fired home .

Thomas for me plays but we need to make sure our passing gets him into positions where he can get in behind Sutton all night, I personally have missed his go for it ways .

Chislett to replace during the game Wilson to keep the quality sky high and Garrity to replace Devine if not showing his quality during game also .

I'm.sure team be much different than that I've chose but whoevers chosen we need a Burton (esq)performance without the nonsense at the back UTV

I'd rest Smith he will need to be ready for Boltons attack .
