not awful, but average. Had reasonable success with Wales, some success at club level, but his last stint at Bradford showed he isn't up to much.

At least he got paid when he said it. Carol gets all this tiresome repetition after saying we needed to be "Championship ready". It tells you plenty about the mentality of many Vale fans - think small, stay small, then moan when our league placing reflects being small.

Doh! Sorry still wearing up from Christmas!     It did all go wrong for Stoke whilst he was there. Anyone remember some of his excellent signings like Kevin Wimmer?

You’d have thought the Cowleys could have got a L1 job if they wanted. Think they’re from that neck of the woods so maybe that swung it for them.

One slight other one Adam Murray who helped here while DC was away from the club and became his assistant at Cheltenham has got himself another managers job at Eastbourne Borough in the sixth tier. Thought he was a pretty decent coach tbh.
