Off the field Hussey is a family man with good educational qualifications in sport and progressing in business. So he is setting himself up well for a post football career.

You could tell Hussey was a good footballer...he just was completely unsuitable to play in a wingback system. Had zero pace or stamina to play that position.

6 assists and 3 goals for a defensive, always passing back,wing back. Dont forget that he is also a decent defender. Something Benning Robinson Worral Donnelly and otheres can only dream of being. This type of defensive player is sadly missing this season.

Is also far better than our star performer Worral. Was it 5 assists and 1 goal for an attacking wing back

He was called the best dead ball specialist in the division when we signed him. Every free kick we had on the edge of the box resulted in no shots at all. He took a decent corner but was extremely slow and first instinct was to pass it back. I also remember him going a over t against Newport resulting in a goal in the huge home game where we could have sealed promotion if we won. Not a good signing IMO

I agree we didnt see the best of him for whatever reason but his record says he was a good player and has again had a good season. He was the ' type' of player we were happy to sign last season and the 'type' of player we have missed this season. Not sure why de didnt fit.

Massive failure.  We needed to find someone better than Worral and every player we have tried this season has proved to be no better at all

I disagree with Wozza. He's been asked to play WB and winger. Cass is a crock,Robinson is a liability,Forrester has mistakes in him and Massey is bone idle. If I as Wozza I'd want half their wages too

Wozza has been one of the best and consistent players Vale have had in the last few seasons. Wozza ain’t the problem, playing too defensively and at times poor strikers in the box have been the issue. We are well covered down the right side, it’s our left side which is very weak.

We have no one better than Worral despite trying several options. We do need better options all around, including winb back / winger.

They play him at left centre back. He got two assists for Stockport at the weekend from free-kicks. Didn’t work for him at Vale, but is obviously a good league 2 player.
