We have no one better than Worral despite trying several options. We do need better options all around, including winb back / winger.

Personally I think Robinson will be a good back up next season and will only improve, I’d like both to be battling for the position. I don’t think that position should be top of our agenda to bring in someone new, there are lots of other positions need improving first.

He was announced as leaving the day after the summer transfer window closed so presumably we allowed him to go once we’d brought in McCarron on that day (great move that).

I'll offer the case for the defence on Hussey. Firstly in terms of his actual defending he was more than solid at that in fact I’d say at that he is better than anything else we’ve put out there at LWB this season by a distance. He wouldn’t have made such a pathetic effort as Benning on that second goal on Saturday showing him inside and not even attempting to get goal side. The passing backwards thing is nonsense too. A major reason for that is we are so static. Even just on Saturday at Charlton none of the front three were attempting to make a run off the ball so I’ve no issue with taking the safety first option.

Perfect Answer.  Hussey had nowhere to go and, usually, no one to pass to going forward.  Conlon gets the same sh1tty wrap as, if there is no space or movement in front of him, he's either got to go sideways or back. That's not their fault.

Me personally think that if we are left with Worral and Robinson down the right handside we are in trouble.

If we accept 25 goals from the front two then the midfield five need 25 minimum to keep us in div 1 again. We keep being told that a striker who scores 15 + is out of our reach financially, and we need two, also told they are not needed in modern football systems. Thats fine in midfield score 25 +  Ours struggled to score 12 between them this year. The wide ones between then scored what 3 or 4 - not sure.

If we keep the likes of Robinson on by offering a new deal we deserve everything we get next season.

I think he’s done well when he has played on the right wing, he certainly ain’t a left sided player and he isn’t the best at right back but for me he has shown promise and I think he’d be a great understudy for Wozza.

If Wozza was aloud to play more up front he would get us 5 goals a season.

We'll agree to disagree respectfully on this one.
