Wish Colin all the very best. Always came across as a thoroughly decent bloke. More than earned his crust whilst at the Vale & was integral in getting the club bought by Carol & Kevin from Norman. For that we should be eternally grateful.

Personally I'm excited. It really feels like we're about to embark on a really interesting close season & summer. The Vale Park campus, now a leadership restructure. Looking forward to the announcements & vision in the next few weeks.

You can't just bring someone in to do his job. You have to know alot of stuff(football related) . He knew his stuff and I hope we are'nt making a cock up like the change of groundsman, we can all see how that turned out. I must admit i am getting a bit worried about all the changes, and no Carol? With what is going on why did'nt she go the supporters meeting last night, just to reasure fans.

Very suprised like many others but I will leave the conspiracy theories to others 😂. I would like to wish Colin well. I think he has done a great job given the circumstances and dealt with the Norman period very well. Top professional and we will miss his experience.

There would have been a long succession plan for his role. Nothing to worry about at all, people come and go that's life.

Not suggesting he will takeover but I'm pretty sure Paddy has been his shadow for the past 18 months so the club would have been planning for this a long time as a potential risk to the business.

Absolutely nothing to worry about, the club is evolving.

Thats the way all the positive people on here look at it

Personally I dont understand at all what the panic is by some, whatever the owners do will be for the long term benefit of the club

Paddy Shanahan as next Chief Exec!? That sounds like a truly brilliant idea.

Wonder why he hasn't waited until the end of the season?

We might not even have a CEO. I'm only saying the club will be prepared and have extracted as much knowledge as possible from Colin over a longer period of time.

Will be interesting to hear what the new Leadership Team structure is. I hope it delivers more income and reduced non playing staff wage spend.
