Cambridge just one win since Boxing Day....

WHAT can POSSIBLY go wrong!!??

😅😂😁😁💯💯

Own goal due then! With a full attacking unit I think we can 3-0 these with correct application. That sounds over confident. But it's important that the team take to the pitch with confidence, starting with a high press and good pace. Don't let it become a dull game where after 30 mins the crowd has gone to sleep and we can't remember what's happened.

Anyone know what caused the Cambridge collapse?  They were flying during the 1st part of the season but have been on an horrendous run.  Were they just in a false position initially?

Actually it all went downhill for them after our fortunate 1-0 earlier in the season.

I doubt this will be a great match. Cambridge will see this as a chance for points and to be honest the previous fixture was a very close run game. A good performance will see a 2-0 win but how we have been playing the good performance was last week and this will be a scrappy 1-1.

Well that's the point really. If it's a dire game the defence has to make sure it's 1-0.

This will be the third team in less than two months that we "should be beating comfortably at home to get our season back on track". Please Vale, third time lucky etc

Well we did beat MK Dons, so really that state of beating the teams we should isn’t as bad as it usually is. In fact, I’m pretty sure our overall efforts against the bottom 6 clubs has been rather good?

Burton 6 wins Port Vale 3 wins, who is the form team this year?

Burton sacked their manager and have been upwardly mobile since. I'm not commending that to Port Vale. I think our problems in 2023 were first of all not having fit strikers and maybe more recently not having a balanced fit squad affecting defending.

Cambridge haven't played a league game since the 18th March, when they lost at home to Charlton,so they've had a good rest since then. After playing us they have eight games to play, which include four homes against Fleetwood,Posh,Wycombe & FGR and four away at Bolton,Plymouth,Accrington & Burton.

Looking at that list I’m pretty sure they’ll be targeting a win on Saturday.

Samson or Forrester Smith Donnelly

Wozza Pett Ojo Benning or Samson

                       Garrity or Conlon

                    Taylor Harrison

Go for the jugular and don't sit back

Hopefully a win by more than 1

Need a good performance at home sat and all remaining home games .
Personally there's no buzz .
The fans forums are quiet .
Bet the ground is not selling well like early in the season the only end not selling was the bycars .
So somehow we have managed put a lot of fans off coming .
Speaks volumes really .
The home performances just have not been good enough .
Starting sat they need be a a good percentage better that what they have been .
Team irrelevant .
Choose a team what will entertain .
UTV

If fans are "put off" by a team winning, losing and drawing games then it's maybe time to wonder if watching football is the right pastime for them.
