46 points would be a point a game average, but agree mid 50’s is a realistic target

I meant from here on in so another 10 points which I wasn’t clear on!

Good night for us, odds on us going down are now 150/1 from 100/1 with tonight’s results on SkyBet.

Morecambe now 11 behind and we have a game in hand (all be it Ipswich away!), Accrington blow another game in hand and Burton take a confidence hitting thrashing ahead of Saturday.

Bristol Rovers losing also keeps them close for us to look at overtaking.

Not too many sides at the bottom showing signs of hitting playoff form.

This is why even when we were struggling a little I was never worried about relegation. All through that period not one of them made up any real ground on us and at this point any of them will struggle to get to 40 never mind our current total.

We’ve won 2 in 12 and lost 7 of those and still are the same distance clear than we were at the start of the run. Nuts really.

Really fancied all three below us tonight with Morecambe and Stanley having decent home records and Burton on the back of a great win against a Posh side battered by Cheltenham at home.

Morecambe, Cambridge, FGR plus one of Stanley, Oxford and MK to go I think.

Personally i think 4 more points will see us safe this season if we aren't already

4 more would be more than enough I think as that would need Morecambe to get 5 wins from 9 plus likely 1 draw due to GD and MK the same from 10.

Can’t see either winning 50% of their games with current form.

The 11 point gap now is probably enough after last night in fairness. Morecambe have some ugly games to come. MK not so bad but they looked awful the other week so even if they win half their favourable games it’s not going to be enough.

100/1 at bet 365 to go down now....

We should make the remaining games a mini season with the aim of finishing in the top half of the table....

We're safe already. Absolutely zero chance that we lose all our remaining games and the teams below us suddenly get promotion form. Even if we did, we've got enough points.

Use this time now to gather a bit of momentum to go into a new season and also get some of the young lads involved.
