I'm sure Jeff has also made money via sales through the club shop in previous years, and this will therefore offset some if not all of his recent losses:yes::yes:

The way he was dressed at the EGM didn't make me think he had much money, if he did he clearly dosent spend it on himself! :D

Scruffy ****!

  • 4 years later...

I've just discovered this thread, which I was disgusted to find. I didn't know about it at the time, otherwise I definitely would have posted to counter the venemous drivel which was written about me! Even years later, so-called Vale fans were shouting abuse at me because I peacefully expressed an opinion (against one-man ownership of the club) at a supposedly democratic meeting. I may be the most unpopular football club historian and songwriter on the planet, but I'm still here, still supporting the Vale and still campaigning for a better world. And I still have a beard and wear my hair long, still partly as a badge. Those of you who lived through the sixties' Cultural Revolution or have read about it will understand why.

My wife made me a brew, it was awful as a peaceful protest I flicked my V's at her. In hindsight I was just rude and obnoxious so I apologised.

Such wisdom is refreshing Jean

I've made many bad mistakes in my life and will always regret the effects of them on other people, but what I said and did at the 2011 EGM weren't amongst them. For the record, I was continually interrupted and heckled when I spoke (even though I kept quiet to respect opposing speakers when they were speaking), but I was determined to have my democratic say regardless and, when I finished, I made the "V" for "Victory" sign to show I wasn't prepared to be intimidated. I have absolutely no regrets about it, even though I became Vale Public Enemy No. 5, because I did the right thing. I'd always rather be unpopular but have integrity than be popular and a coward or a yes-man.
