By the sound of his accent and his knowledge of the home team I reckon he was from BBC Radio Mansfield. He was pretty good though. Strange that Radio Stoke just played a clip with Phil Bowers commentating on their 4th goal

You would hope at the very least we would get the 'new manager' bounce that usually happens for a handful of games, which will give us more point than we will get under John Askey.

The hard choice would be how they pay his and his staff compensation bill for being sacked.  Do they use the transfer money to pay for it or find it from somewhere else.  Would not want to be in their shoes.

I don’t understand why the owners would save the club, make so many positive changes and get the fans united properly for the first time in years, only to watch the playing side crumble week after week and undermine that good work.
