Come on Vale, guess Visser was beat by a cracking free kick by the sounds of it.

Wonder if JA and Co will actually try 4-4-2 on saturday.  Did not start with 4-4-2 -only changed to 4-4-2 with the injury to Amoo.  But after only 3 minutes has shown it works.  Wigan have shown 4-3-3 hasn't worked for them tonight.

Well done, Vale and well done JA for changing the formation when he needed to. Excellent result only spoiled by Gibbo's injury.

If it's serious, what are our options for Saturday? Is Smudge available after his covid isolation? Whitehead? Crookes? 

We could have done without this with Mills injured!

Smudge isn't. I suppose he could play Brisley there with crookes in the middle. Or try alex Hurst there

Smudge isn't. I suppose he could play Brisley there with crookes in the middle. Or try alex Hurst there

I thought Brisley, Hurst (and Crookes) are all left footed?
