Racism in our political parties.

I thought we were talking about racism in political parties (admittedly I hadn't realised he had resigned the Labour whip, albeit after Labour had reinstated him despite holding some pretty objectionable views). 

Unless we're only talking about anti-Semitism. In which case carry on.

Not sure what to make of the JO'M stuff. Just looked on the twitter feed of the guy who has resigned and it seems that Jared needs help rather than what's happened just now. Maybe things will become clearer once details are leaked but it all feels a bit unpleasant.

From what I've read he needs to get some help (apparently hes refused so far), call a bi election and get himself out of politics.

Sir Roger Scrutton who was sacked from his housing job after one his interviews was edited to make him look racist by the Twitter mob,has won back his Goverment advisor job.

Tapes have emerged that show his words were out of context.

According to Elizabeth Warren, a Democratic Candidate for President of the USA, there is now Structural Racism, Economic Racism, Environmental Racism, Criminal Justice Racism and Healthcare Racism not forgetting the old chestnut, Institutional Racism.

This is the same Elizabeth Warren who claimed she was of American Indian decent and played the race card to get prestigious jobs including a tenured Professorship at Harvard University Law School, DNA testing has shown her to be no more American Indian than the average white American.

The Democratic Party in the USA once stood for improving wages and living conditions etc for the ordinary man, now they're totally obsessed with racism.

On the plus side, telling Mail readers that Labour is targeting Asian and Black Britons will gain us a few votes from the readership?

There will always be racism in politics because it's a useful weapon to attack opponents and to gain votes with.

It really is scary. They claim to fight against racism but their actions are like petrol being poured on to a fire.

Surely it's the president's words and actions that are inflammatory. Not sure if this is the thread for it but do you think the weekend's shootings would have occurred if it wasn't for Trump's demonisation of BAME people?

Would you ask the question if he was a left wing democrat?

Is it true the "cages" for immigrants were used by the Obama administration? 

Is it still true that the Obama administration sent back (?) More people than trump has?

Is it true that democrats under Obama wanted a wall?

Isn't the democrats outrage a clear case of using the race card as a means to a political end?

Dont leave out privilege mate...... it gives them more weapons in the arsenal to attack with.

The democrats sole goal is to get rid of trump... everything else is secondary... they seem to have lost sight of their primary function.

Trump doesn't demonize BAME people as far as I've ever seen.

Theres a tragically long history of mass shootings in America and it is almost always committed by young white men, we weren't blaming Obama for causing them though.

One of them was a leftist. Self confessed Democrat who had multiple anti trump social media posts and was believed to have supported the terror group antifa. His bio described him as a socialist.

You only have to go back a month to a radical leftist attacking an ICE facility with rifles and grenades.

Does trump get the blame for those too or can we blame the squad perhaps who have said that force needs to be used to liberate the "concentration camps" by any means.

Trump is doing some excellent work for minorities, I was reading up on his LGBT record the other day and it is actually incredible what he has done and is planning to do for that community. It doesn't stop the media telling people that he is anti lgbt and I think that is the same as other forms of discrimination.

It's a weapon. It has been used by the left for the last decade to smear opponents.

The only connection between Trump’s remarks about the NFL protests and his “shithole” comments is race.
• Trump mocked Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign, again calling her “Pocahontas” in a tweet before adding, “See you on the campaign TRAIL, Liz!” The capitalized “TRAIL” is seemingly a reference to the Trail of Tears — a horrific act of ethnic cleansing in the 19th century in which Native Americans were forcibly relocated, causing thousands of deaths.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — are “from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe” and that they should “go back” to those countries. It’s a common racist trope to say that black and brown people, particularly immigrants, should go back to their countries of origin. Three of four of the members of Congress whom Trump targeted were born in the US.
