Just to be clear with Norman as owner all the Hugill money will go go into his @rse pocket.

If Synectics were the owners all the Hugill money would go back into the club.

No contest.

We probably thought that with all our previous owners and look what happened?

Melv, some people have said Smurthwaite has got **** all money,so it wouldn’t be too difficult to match it.Leave the dealing to those that matter.Time to give the team a lift.

My comment was about what CS had said when she was on about Smurthwaites comment. He had said that he was worth £130m.

As for your comment about dealing and leave it to those that matter. That is exactly what I have done.I have had NOTHING to do with any part of the deal. That is between the 2 parties involved. All I have done is comment on information that has been made public.Shouldnt be very hard for you to understand that.

Why would Synectics need to take money out of the club unless it’s to give it to our fat greedy bar steward owner because he wants too much money for it to pay for his mistakes.

Since a supporters consortium (V2001),a so called regime comprised of fellow Vale devotees let me down, will you forgive me for not really trusting anybody with the ownership of my football club?

Absolutely spot on mate, there has to be something in it for everyone that buys a football club otherwise it’s simply giving money away.

That’s why I suggested helping to get the deal over the line in exchange for ownership of the ground put in a fans trust by SS.I also said at some point there has to an element of trust in new owners.Someone has to,it appears, pay over the top to get the club. How many would share the burden? It appears not many?

My thoughts too mate, it’s clear they need financial support for the long term good of the club if we are to progress and they are to be the successful buyers. Like I said when I heard your idea I’d also be prepared to chip in to a ring fenced fund to help put the ground in trust for the fans long term, that in itself should get 100% of the fans on side for a year or two. I just don’t want people abusing SS and protesting against them in 2021 or before.

We said that in 2003.

And again in 2012.

The big difference is that on both occasions Vale were in administration and the main role of the administrators was to find someone who could service the debts of the failed company. As far as I'm aware there's no danger of admin this time and the only creditor is Smurthwaite - who will be bought off in any deal.

Why should SS pay over the odds for a club he paid 1.25 million for.He is just a greedy bar steward expecting them to pay for his incompetence and numerous mistakes.

He is just taking advantage of them being genuine supporters wanting the best for the club.

I just hope he is investigated by HMRC for his dubious wheeling and dealing with his various companies.

He said he was worth 80 million when he bought the club.

Now he says he is worth 130 million.

Considering he he only has Port Vale as his main business where has this rise in wealth come from.

He has taken 2 million out of the club this season and put sfa in.
