My suggestion would be donate to buy the ground but also to buy a ST separately.No need to donate or buy either unless SS have the club.CS has said the ground should belong to the fans.She didn’t ask for cash but as it stands SS are not prepared to meet the asking price.It was a way of trying to help to get a deal through.

 

If the fans were to raise an extra million quid the price would go up to £6 million.

Imagine. Fans screaming, Norman Smurthwaite get out of our club. Raging at the bloke destroying a club that's been part of our community for 140 years. Next minute we all club together to basically give him (not the club) more money?

 

Here you go Norman. I know Carol's offered you 4 times the value of the club, but here's an extra £1m, from us. Call it az thank you for treating us like **** for the past 6 years.

 

Why are people so desperate to give this parasite more money? You couldn't make it up.

I think this is true he's holding onto the club for some reason but I can't yet get my head around the reason why

Is he really creaming that much money off the club?

What's he hiding ?

I'm fully behind SS and their bid but agree with carol their latest bid is more that generous and gives Norman a healthy return on his initial investment so I wouldn't bid any higher

If SS wanted to have a trust fund to secure the ground after taking over I'd still contribute as long as the funds collected were used to secure the ground legally and improve the grounds facilities for all supporters

 

I believe Norman is now hoping we pick up the points to survive and to get to the end of the season then the heat will be off him

 

We must keep the pressure on as Saturday showed we have a united fan Base he has to go or we will be sitting here again next season in the same position

 

A win tonight and another couple of points should be enough for survival which will be fantastic because a week ago I thought we were doomed

 

We must not let smurfwaite off the hook!!!!

Don't be so naive, Howjy. At the SC meeting 10 days ago Colin Garlick said that the owner wanted his money back. The offer from SS gives him that. Why is he saying he wants £5 million which is considerably more than his money back? Would you hang on to an asset which was clearly diminishing in value and according to you, costing you a fortune, or would you sell it if someone offered you more than it was worth?

If they came back and offered him that amount tomorrow, he'd just find something else to fob them off with.

 

 

Then ,he won’t or doesn’t want to sell.So what next?
