Club release statement over Worrall disallowed goal

I'm amazed how often the officials get the offside calls correct, the replays on tv are testament to it but outside the indescretion by Montano, Worral was clearly onside, it wasn't even close and it's happened twice in the last 4 games.

If we were complaining about one or two decisions, it would look ridiculous but this is undeniably a long list of officials' mistakes that have arguably cost us points. The difference perhaps between staying up and being relegated.

 

The only problem is that every club in the league almost certainly has a similar list! I know it doesn't help our fight against relegation, but what's that saying about the "rub of the green"? Have we got a list of the examples that went right for us too? I doubt it!!

How said is this statement? Only losers complain about decisions.I would also argue that some of the "penalty decisions we should have had" where actually the correct decision not to award one.

 

The problem all season is when you only create 1 maybe 2 chances on average per game these decisions, which are sometimes 50/50, make all the difference.

 

I wonder if the club have totalled up all of the 50/50 decisions we have had during games.

 

Pathetic and desperate.

 

We should concentrate our analysis on how to create more chances then wasting time on this!

The real issue is we create so few opportunities that every officials mistake (yes there have been a few!) are critical in games.

 

Really poor show us belly aching about it by way of an official statement!
