His EGM 'antics' did come over all wrong, but he did vote against Bratt and co, whereas it may have seemed that he was supporting them. What he does want though is the 24.9% to remain, as do quite a few. Personally I think it is a millstone that limits progress.

Thought ad give this its own thread after the stick we have given him since the EGM, myself included.Jeff sits in the Bycars 3 rows behind me and at the start of the card protest, second half, I turned round to see him and his friends waving their red cards, I said something( can't remember what) to him and he came down and sat by me for a chat which we haven't done since the EGM ...He said he his 100% behind the SC and the protest and agreed that Miller/ Deakin have told lie after lie to get on the board and he said that they could possibly take Vale out of existence never mind administration.I then hit on him about his stance at the EGM to back the board,his response was that he did not want the 24,9% share holding to be abolished and wanted the supporters to own the club not just one man. Jeff is one of our, lets say high profile fans,and the SC could use him to our advantage in the fight against THE 2 so if he comes back on OVF please give a bit of slack.

ONE MAN has got to run the club,supporter run and the 24.9% rule hasn't worked he needs to get that in his head,no wealthy person in his right mind would start putting money into a club and only ever have a 24.9% say in the running of it.
