It's an embarrassment if you try and fail, which now seems highly likely if we only manage to shift a paltry 2,3 or 4 thousand. If we only sold 300, there's a clear message that we're boycotting and showing the competition the disdain it deserves. If we get 3,000 Vale there, our support for this comp will have increased by 500% (making any moral principled argument null and void) but we'd still be outnumbered, so Stoke will have every right to take the **** out of us.

 

Now that we've thrown that option out of the window and fans have given in to the attraction of playing Stoke, the only way we can come out of this with any credit is by selling 6/7k plus, and then destroying Stoke on the pitch.
