Both should be playing Aspin. Negative fare once more. Disappointed yet not surprised.

I realised a while ago that we have a negative thinking manager and to put it bluntly he couldn't find his arse with both hands.

Rawlinson - Legge - Smith

Kanu - Quigley - Hannant - Daniels

Whitfield - Pope - Miller

 

And then put whatever strikers we have in the reserves, U19, U17 and U15s and stick them on the bench!

Just hope that Pope is fit now. Going to get a battering if he is playing up front by himself. Can see their defenders giving Pope a quick tap or three on his ankles to see how fit he is.

 

Just hope Aspin has it worked out with this selection choice.

Gosh this last 15 mins has been poor, all Bury. We’ve got no outlet and are just handing possession back to them time after time. Their 10 Mayor will create sometime sooner or later, he’s running the show atm.

Pretty poor so far, at least in an attacking sense. Formation looks to be a 532 but very narrow. It seems that the plan is to soak up the passing pressure deep as they like to play it out. That's fine if you have a plan to counter attack quickly and wide, but the only thing that we seem to be doing is trying to find pope to flick it on to Miller whilst the 9 others sit behind the half way line!

 

Pope does not look fit. All he's done is moan his head off so far.

5-3-2....but turgid rubbish nonetheless. We are playing like an away team. We are just getting completely overrun in midfield and our defenders don’t have the ability to play out from the back, so we just thump it up field and gift back possession to them.
