Quite a solid half really, they had a few decent balls across the face of the goal, and I think one shot. Equally we haven’t threatened much from open play and overall it’s been an even game. Joyce and Hannnt have been my picks so far. The penalty is ridiculous, no idea what their defender was thinking, what a clown. Luckily we got away with one when Clark did a similar challenge on their forward who was clean through.

Our was a pen. Peter Clarke playing for us because that was a terrible foul to give away. So pointless.

 

Joyce fouled their player. Stonewall. However from here I think contact was on the outside of the box on first viewing from behind the goal.

Its the way he catches the crosses - not afraid to come for them either, parries them away to safe areas and talks to his defenders that counts. When called upon he pulls off the good saves. Previously we have not had that.
