They may be thinking of a late run-in now they are back in the POs courtesy of Lincoln`s loss. With playing for contracts in Aspin`s mind, is giving Saturday`s team another game to settle, or is it something new? Still need to keep our shape and discipline. Play with a bit more freedom and confidence but no less intensity. I don’t like others having mathematical chances to catch us and want to end as far away from the bottom as possible. It’s been a poor season, let’s start as we mean to go on in August.

The game end scoreline was ridiculous at Vale .

Really? They were awful until they scored their 1st goal just before half time, they rarely got out of their own half, generally just lumping the ball away with all the pressure coming from us. Had we deservedly gone into the lead then I'm sure that we would have gone on to beat them handsomely. They actually only had 4 shots on target and scored all of them.

I’m not saying they played the best football but in terms of being clinical and getting the win they were very effective

Mansfield were clear favorites to win the league before the season started with all the money they spent. For different reasons their season has been every bit as disappointing as ours has.....

You think that playoffs rather than automatic promotion is as disappointing as our season? Staring at non league for most of the season. I would swop in a second.
