Well this is a tough game for sure . But as always if we give 100% then we can get something but we need all eleven to be at there best. I will be happy if we can get something if we win then happy days .

I choose to ignore Exeter as we had Evtimov in goal, who was at fault for probably 2 of their goals.

 

They must have been poor goals for Exeter as well, as we won 1-0.

I fancy us beat anyone at the moment, be interesting see who replaces Kay but other than that i expect same again looking forward to this one.

To be honest, I'd be happy with a point from this one, though strangely enough I think the Barnet game will prove to have been the harder of the two because it was such a relegation scrap. At least Mansfield will come to play a game of football, which gives us the chance to attack against a side that isn't set up to defend for 90 minutes. You never know, Mansfield are in a great run of form but who better to end it than the mighty Vale.

I hope we can get another win but will settle for a point as we are not there yet, improving granted. We just need to find those missing peices of the jigsaw in midfield.

We'll need to be up for it to get something from this game, Fatty will be coming here for 3 points and I think he'll have his team prepared to work for them. We can't afford a sloppy Swindon game type of performance.

Would you play Regis in the first half and have a good go at them or see how the match develops, read somewhere their defence is prone to high crosses. Also like to counter-attack from corners. We need to be vigilant and up for it.

I saw Mansfield last season when we managed to lose to them in the tin pot trophy. We were poor with a lot of reserve players, they were very ordinary. We shouldn't big them up except I felt they were physically a good side. Maybe they have signed some higher level players, but they aren't doing that great are they. We will be 7 points behind them if we win tomorrow.

 

I was talking to a person who worked at Bury in a senior role on Saturday. They have a problem of bringing in some highly paid players who are not delivering and can be accused of not being committed to Bury to the level expected. Maybe Mansfield has some of that, if so let's expose it.

Waking up and actually excited that it’s match day, can’t remember that feeling for years!! Tough game tonight, Mansfield will be a totally different prospect to negative Barnet. Turn out in force Valiants, your team needs your support tonight.

Looking forward to the game. I can't see us making any changes other than the enforced one for Kay. Given that Aspin seems to like the system of 2 holding midfielders I wouldn't be surprised if Tonge replaced Kay.
