Yeovil Saturday 3pm kick-off

As it says....it was decided this morning the game will be on December 2nd with a 3pm kick-off.

Plans are in full swing to aggressively promote ticket sales and they will be available to buy at the next two home games in an effort to get a decent crowd in.

OK, the tickets part I made up but the first bit is true.

Ticket prices £12 and £6 concessions as for Oxford.

The downside is that Bycars is not open for this match.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but so it shouldn't. I love the idea of having a mass of fans behind the goal, but it's just a few hundred people who don't even sit close together. It looks awful, is a waste of money (electrics, turnstile operators, food kiosk etc.), and doesn't add any kind of atmosphere whatsoever.

For me, until attendances pick up somewhat, it should remain closed. Put a big flag over it or something. Pack the Railway and it might improve the atmosphere.

If it has to stay open, as least put some netting in there and get people sitting together.

Tin hat on.

I agree.

Obviously our ground is too big a capacity for us. They could net off the top section of the bycars to move people further down, but I agree it looks better when people are herded together.

The entire ground looks awful!

That said, I agree with your last point. There is no need for both "tiers" of the Bycars to be open and I also agree there is no real point having it open for this game.

If they would give the best stand back to the vale fans instead of the away supporters it would be better still then the singers just might get behind the vale instead of shouting at the away fans.I have stood and sat in the bycars since they moved us from the hamil the stand is a disgrace to be called a home end poor views poor facilities and dont even mention the toilets but i suppose i will have to grin and bear it for many years to come i suppose.

Well im surprised that we r playing at home on the same day as Stoke but im quite happy about it as working all that weekend and like a home league game ill get up and go as work permanent nights so it suits me .

As for closing two stands that makes sense and maybe a good idea for one game is give the lorne street to Yeovil and let the Vale fans in the acoustic away end .

Id certainly go in there as went in when Vale legends played Stokes Legends as lorne street was sold out .

Utv get behind hem who knows we may fet lucky and get a good draw if wego ,get behind them and they manage win .
