David Artell - you're a disgrace

Incidentally, I rang Radio Stoke immediately after Artell's interview and when I was asked what I wanted to speak about I said I wanted to respond to the comments in the interview. That was a good half an hour before the end of the programme. I was never called back. Cheers Lee.

We sent several, admittedly some abusive , texts and tweets to Blakeman asking for more detail on Artell's comments and got nothing. Both are a disgrace.

He's a bit dopey for antagonising opposition fans but he's actually correct that if people don't think it's a red card then they need to be educated on the laws of the game and their interpretation.

I didn't think it was a red card either and my interpretation of the letter of the law is better than Lee Blakeman and the PA who both called it a reckless challenge.

I think the only thing the referee has to decide in this case is whether the tackle was reckless or using excessive force.
