Hugill money?

I am not really aware of the dealings of previous guard other than the outcome

I like you see a lot of promise in Nathan and good things will come of him

The Club is in good hands now and to be clear l have not had any input or consultation bar one historic issue since then

It would appear the first 20 mins of that game killed alot of the good feeling that had acrued

I am sorry l cannot add more

So what is your plan for the club.Where do we as a club go from where we are now? What have we to look forward to?

I came on here as l was advised it was posted that l am fat and clueless.

You're not thin and you preceded to make the biggest gamble this football club has had in its history, last summer.

That makes you fat and clueless.

It's not being nasty.

It's just fact.

Sell up and **** off you vile man.

The Club will be sold when both a willing seller and buyer can agree just like any other asset

Likewise the value will agreed by both parties

I had no fixed views re Hugill but my policy both past and present is that any current squad player who produces any form of fee, all would stay with the Club

Not much more to say

Who ADVISED you about what was being said? Do you have people reporting back to you what is being said or did you just happen to be reading OVF?

Be nice to him and he laughs in your face.

Be nasty to him and he plays the victim card.

Either way you can't win.

That's how I feel.

He's a vile man who has ruined my football club and the love for it.

Thats just how I feel.

Believe me, that's nowhere near what I really think of the man.

He's got off lightly considering the mess he got us into.

I understand and agree with people's frustrations but there's nothing to be gained by insulting the bloke.

I agree, if anything it's gonna lead to more intrasigence and any Vale fans who've made threats of a violent nature should hold their heads in shame.

There's much from last season/year I would like to know more about but what's the point it's history, the future is what counts and Vale fans have to get behind MB and the team.

You seem to have ignored Iron Curtain who has also picked up on this but I'll try too.

You clearly say that "my policy both past and present is that any current squad player who produces any form of fee, all would stay with the Club" and you admit you "had no fixed views re Hugill".

The Chairman stated we have a 20% sell on clause. Therefore, if Hugill were sold today for £3m we would get £600k. Can you state here and now what would happen to that? Would it be reinvested in the playing squad or into balancing the books?

Personaly where ever it went would be welcomed, we need to balance the books and we could always use some more in the playing budget, so any roads up, it doesn't really matter.

Ps, I'm not a fan of smurf btw.

I don't know what your point is here. If you mean, going back from now, then you're wrong as we had more v Bolton and Sheff U...at least.

If you mean from the start of last season it took until boxing day, that's wrong too, as we had 5600 v Cov in October.

My mistake but how many did Cov bring? My comment was to RZ.He stated diehards are not going. If that's the case then new fans must be.Who do you think we should buy if we get any money from the sale of Hugill?as the OP asked.I suppose we could ask the 4700 Vale fans who turned up on Saturday.

Cov brought 604. If big if, we got the Hugill money, I've no clue who we should go for. I'm losing interest to be honest, and that's down to one man.

My message to Smurf is to either invest the club to Championship level where we could turn a profit or sell.

I think he has put good money into the club but it is always going to be a downward spiral as you can't make a profit from a club our size in league 1, let alone league 2.

Agreed, and Garlick said as much the other week, didn't he?

Any money that we get from Hugill's sell-on, or from any sale of Nathan Smith, will go straight into The Fat Clueless One's bank account IMO.

We have to pay back the loans he has over the club at some point. Whether it's now or after the sale is purely academic. And no, I'm not 'taking sides' just stating an obvious reality.

That £600K just covers the loss we made through relegation so we won't actually profit from it.
