Told you all it was time to push the panic button. It's evident now that we are about as attractive as a bout of conjunctivitis. We are in big big trouble, teams like Yeovil can attract players under contract from other clubs before we can. I was positive two weeks ago, I'm bricking it now.

 

Who have they attracted who is under contract?

 

I can only see they have signed James Bailey who was a free agent.

They signed Zubar him of the sparking Garner fame he was a free agent. Also paid a fee to Luton for Gray who played 28 games last season. And they paid another fee for Browne from Grimsby. A few other signings too including a lad from Plymouth who played 25 times in last yrs promotion team.

Yeovil, Luton, Cheltenham, Coventry, Swindon, Stevenage and Crawley have all bought players for a fee this summer.

 

Where has that £100,000 that we bid for Danny Rowe gone?

 

Plus the £350,000 for Alnwick + Grant?

 

Think that £100k was from the incoming £350k from January which has been put back into the budget for this coming season.

They bought Jake Gray from Luton for an undisclosed fee. 21yo midfielder. 4 goals, 5 assists in 28 apps last season in L2. 6 goals in 33 apps the season before at Hartlepool.

 

On paper, I'd have been happy with this signing. Young midfielder with 10 goals in 61 apps at L2 level with the potential to improve in the future.

Midfielders that score goals are worth their weight in gold.
