Starve Him Out..... The only solution?

Why do you doubt they want the club that much, and what are the similarities to Chaudry?

I just don't feel it. In theory, they look to be the perfect owners but by sitting in the background we aren't actually seeing the facts.

My comparison to Chaudry was that his bid was all smoke and mirrors. When it came down to the actual bidding he put in a pathetic offer.

I'd love to see this company come out with a clear plan of how to take over the club.

Couldn't wait for this could you?

Pitchforks away please.

Oh I could wait alright all I am guilty of is seeing the 'train crash' coming long before quite a few others. Do you really think I enjoy turning up every week and hoping we lose? If that is the case you must be stupid. All I want is a well run club and with a modicum of ambition.

All of this you aren't a real fan if you aren't prepared to go into oblivion with it is quite frankly nonsense.

My only crime is for being disgusted at the way the club I have followed for donkey's years is being slowly strangled to death and that there are so many willing to roll up buy a ST and just watch it happen like lambs to the slaughter. A pathetic attitude in my opinion.

I'm not sure but what I won't do is put the final nail in the clubs coffin. Three admins in a relatively short space of time would be the end of the club- no one would touch us

You won't have to Smurf will drive us out of business with his pig headed stupidity. He is so far out of his depth it is unbelievable yet many seem to think he is our best hope - God help us.

For what it's worth I won't be joining any campaign as I decided a while back that it simply is no longer worth my time and money in making a 130 mile round trip and buying a season ticket to be totally brassed off with the crap that is served up as an excuse for football. After many years my enthusiasm has been drained from me by the lack of any understand of what it takes to be a football club with at least a glimmer of hope.

Smurf is completely incapable of turning this football club round and it will only go from bad to worse under his stewardship. There are so many clubs languishing in the conference who were in our position with a inept owner not so long ago.

A triumph for SEO, non league football beckons. I just wish some of you would acknowledge that, however well meant, pulling the rug from under V2001 without a workable plan B was partially responsible for our current sutuation. I am fed up with the "we had to do it, V2001 were killing the club" attitude. That is all.

Would I do it again to get rid of Bratt and Co, hell yes.

Now you are rewriting history. We were steadily improving in league 2 and would have been in the playoffs but for the 10 point deduction. V2001 had appointed Adams as manager, he got us the promotion, not Norman. The fans brought down the previous regime and were naive enough to trust the administrators to make the right decision for them (the fans) when they (the administrators) had no affiliation to the club. The fans could have no say in the future planning by your admission.

Oh for christy sake, stop the V2001 love in, they were an absolute disgrace

I'm sure when their confidentiality agreement expires they'll do what's best for the club. For now though their silence, whilst frustrating, shows they know how to behave professionally. I think getting their brand in the Sentinel connected to a positive story about giving tickets to kids at Sandford cricket club shows they're aware of how to present themselves positively whilst having their hands tied.

The fans did not bring down the previous regime, the V2001 Board did that all by themselves. They constantly shafted the shareholders with their behaviour. They appointed people of dubious integrity to key positions in the club. They gave the chairmanship to a man who turned out to be a crook and was ripping the club off right, left and centre. And they got the club into so much debt with their decisions that administration became inevitable. All the fans did was highlight these facts.

Since the last Starve Em Out campaign resulted in us being where we are now, does anyone think it would be a good idea to do it again?

Yes I think it would, if ST's fall and it already as, no money coming from the tea and beer booths, boycott the shop, hit him in the pocket, that's what hurts a business man...he has to sell or next season is it.

Were you happy with the way that V2001 ran the club and treated its shareholders?
