His statement on the official website dated 6th March says "Regrettably they chose to significantly reduce their offer and conceded that they now needed finance to proceed to purchase the Club or could proceed to purchase the football club without purchasing the stadium. With that knowledge I announced that the sale would not be proceeding."

 

He also said something about bit more blunt on a thread on here late Feb early March that made it clear it's not going to happen so forget about it.

Us as in PVFC Bon Ami. To cover the loss in ST revenue Smurf will have to lend us more money to compete hence the asking price goes up and less people to buy.

Unfortunately, I can see that being the case without a SEO campaign. Can't blame the fans given the mess he's caused.

For a creditor you appear to have too much knowledge/information about PVFC which would only be known to people close to Smurf or close to the club. How come a Tranmere fan has so much interest in Port Vale FC.

 

Why don't you at least reveal some information on your relationship with Smurf and/or Port Vale FC. I'm curious where all the money does come from to finance the Vale.

You've given a 2nd hand car analogy for selling a football club. You do realise that the two transactions aren't the same right? I try and steer (Get it?) the question towards the transaction we're actually talking about, and you go back to the 2nd hand car. Cripes. :smile:

I've no idea, but from looking at this chronologically, the statement says earlier that he gave them access to the books...they then reduced the offer. Read into it how you will in the absence of any detail from either party.

In business and in our case it's all about cutting your losses and getting as much of your own money back as possible.

Most people would do the same,wouldn't they?:unsure:
