A better second half but it was too little too late. First Bruno then Brown have no idea how to set us up away from home to get even one point, let alone three. What's disappointing is that Pugh, one of the senior players, managed to get sent off within 20 minutes or so in a game where a point would have been invaluable.

 

Theoretically, we're still in with a shout but our run in and our form to date puts survival on a knife edge. Tonight's result will have done us no good at all for yet another away game on Saturday. Are we going to give yet another struggling team a leg up?

Chesterfield is an absolute must win. We must set out to go all out attack and try and come home with the points. I've just seen the league table and it is very close. 7 teams are fighting it out to go down. We still have a chance but have to do something different away from home and show we are up for the fight.

But once you get a man sent off that's that. Rochdale are a good team, score for fun, and are no mugs.

 

The sad thing is every game we play we seem to lose two players and the bench again tonight looked weak.

I thought browns pre match comments were a veiled dig at the chairman, Rochdale are a team who've been building steadily over the last 4 years, done it the right way etc etc. Truth is that they have and are building to be a half decent team at this level.

Lets get this right for twenty mins we play well then from our corner Pugh gets left in a situation where he gets a red card .

Then we collapse till half time then Brown ******** them and second half they do ok .

Is that how the game went travelling fans .

So Pughs red card was a red was it and if it wasnt then what was the ref playing at .

We annot keep relying on other teams ineptness .
