Escape Tunnel now in sight again, with more than a glimmer at the end of it, on the basis of a more lively performance, 3 points, and results elsewhere. Careful management of all our players fitness/stamina/skill will be necessary to ensure optimum contribution in the games where our best chances of points are. Improved organization of the defence by Bikey has resulted in clean sheets, hopefully the greater mobility in the attack provided by Reggie will produce more goals. Going for a draw, but of course a win would be great.

Yes a point here and a victory at chesterfield would be brilliant but it's going be tough. I think we'll get a win here and a draw at chesterfield as they are fighting to stay in the league and Rochdale nowt play for lads

Thing is, we need 3 or 4 points from these 2 games as all the other remaining games are much tougher.

What would be great is you wait all season for an away win then two come along at once. If this happens we could be all but safe this time next week.

As im not going this game as im going the Chesterfield one and with it only being a pound for adults id have expected it be sold out for the away end .

With support i think the players r capable of winning all remaining games .

I really do but not everyone has loads of money to be there at Rochdale Chesterfield ,Oxford ,Walsall and Fleetwood .

All within driving distance i just hope we can be strong and play with a desire and determination c the job through.

We have a chance but it only becomes more evident if we actually pick up points away.

As Rob Pages dire away performances put me off going regularly ,Bruno well i never went a away game under him as we were defending 80 mins out of 90 at home with Grant the supposed only reason why we were winning at all home and away .

Browny s a good lad i like what im seeing at home my message is get them doing it away .

Utv keep it fresh if players r tired shopilodo and defreitas look ready .

If u need pop Streete if a five at the back u do that M Brown .

Rochdale score for fun! If we can keep a clean sheet then the great escape is on. I have never seen us get much at Chesterfield so two draws would be good if we sneak a win from either two then happy days. Just hope we can sort out the away form and scrape a few points.

Looks that way doesn't it, as they are 8 points behind the sixth placed team - but they may not see it the same. I guess their manager will be telling them to take one game a a time and hope that others slip up. I am a great admirer of Keith Hill who is a canny manager. He will have had us scouted yesterday and will have a plan for dealing with the awkward Reggie and the sublime Chris Eagles. Brown will know this, so let's hope we can keep out their free scoring attack (only two L1 teams have scored more goals this season) and keep another clean sheet. A point from this game would set us up nicely for Chesterfield. UTV!

I'd take a point every day of the week.

 

They have a good home record and a physically strong set of forwards. The pitch is tight and they run the channels and use big Calvin really well. Like the Wombles, they chase and run for 90 minutes and in Camps have a classy midfielder.

 

Only 100% effort will be enough to get anything out of this. Everyone has to be on their mettle and giving an 8/10 performance again.

I see we are eighth in the current form (Last x6 league games) table, hopefully just in time to avoid the drop. My money's on Gillingham, x4 league defeats on the spin, conceed for fun, their top player sent off yesterday who will miss a tough looking game v play off chasing Millwall next up....

At one point this season rochdale had won 10 home games in a row so id be surprised if we didnt lose this. We havent won away at rochdale since a cup match there around 2001 so dont have a good record there either.

We could do with at least 3 points from these 2 away games but i just dont see it we just play totally different away from home and look beat as soon as start.
