Rochdale have not won any of their last seven games. They have gone off the boil and are there for the taking if the Vale can play the same team and tacics along with the same effort.

Scunthorpe have won 1 of last 7, Bristol Rovers 3 points from 27 Away from home, Posh 5 defeats in 7 , Bradford no wins in 4 .

ALL of those teams were in poor form when we played them, outcome 1 measly point.

I've seen Rochdale play a few times this season. They try and play nice football and at a quick tempo. They work very hard.

The big problem we'll face is that they've got two big lads up front - Andrew who looks bigger than ever and Henderson and they'll bombard our box every chance they get.

They are suspect at the back. Keane is a leader but not very quick.

The pitch will be bumpy and not great. Put the ball in the channels and chase everything is how they play.

I'm worried about their height up front. But we should be able to create a few chances of our own.

The pitch is brand new and like a carpet.

It really isn't. I've seen it twice and fair enough it was raining on both occasions but it was lumpy and cut up.

In the Huddersfield game Wanger changed his tactics in the second half and instead of playing carpet football he played a big lad up front and played off his knock downs. He even commented afterwards that the pitch didn't help the way they play.
