Just too early to say with Brown, but Lee Clarke has experience, and that could be crucial. But if he was going to employ him why didn't 'the butcher' get him before the transfer window.

 

It would now be a question of whether the greater experience would outweigh having to inherit a squad with none of his own players in it. Tricky, but totally avoidable if any common sense had come into play.

That is a very fair point but it misses one obvious point. The club through Dave Johnson have sent out a ridiculous twitter message to say that there will be a message on Wednesday. That is exactly the sort of things that triggers rumours, see my note on the other "Wednesday Thread" what I predicted there is exactly reflecting this dialogue here. The club is pathetic for encouraging, or allowing, or supporting unacceptable twitter messages to say that something will be announced soon. This type of rumour response is inevitable and further isolates supporters, absolute lunacy.

 

His account isn't the official club twitter is it? I will be honest I stopped following him in the summer as I found his posts highly annoying and without substance in some cases.
