Eagles and Guy sign

CAVALIER

Recommended Posts

this eagle has been released more times than next doors racing pigeons. It's a measure of how far we have declined under smurf. Players like this used to find themselves in non league football not these days port vale will take em. I suspect it will not be long before we find smurfs natural level.

The only thing there that surprises me from you is that you haven't mentioned the Trillion pound deals you get involved in or weddings

As long as we don't play them all at once, spread their games out and save their legs? Will Taylor stay? He hasn't been earning his speciality money lately.

There have been 10 of them not earning their money lately.....Bruno has gone, fresh start, show us what you are made of.

99 percent really?!

he missed out the . It should have read 9.9 % I think the fella he was on about is the one who is laying down a prolific career at Shrewsbury one week in six.

It really is so sad how a few on here make out that average players who have been here for YEARS were something we couldn't possibly do without and that other teams would reap the benefits of. The only one who left who we have missed is O'connor and he went for family reasons and travelling.

Talk about exaggerating, yes we've been on a bad run and Bruno turned out rubbish but 'hurtling' we're 9 points clear of the bottom 4!

Momentum plays a big part though, ask Barnsley about it when they were going in the other direction last season ! One goal in 5 games, and one league win in Bruno's last 8 or 9 or was it even 10 - that sort of form would have seen us finish with about 45 points, which is not usually enough to stay up.

Now I am not saying that is still happening - hopefully the reversal has started, 4 points from MB's two league games have been a nice start, but it WAS going that way fast, and without our top scorer and with best player (JA) possibly injured for a while, it needed action - that's all I was saying.

Good luck to both of them. As with all new signings, I give them a clean slate. I couldn't care less that Eagles was a relative success at Burnley and a failure at Accrington or whatever Guy has achieved in his short career up to now. I'll judge them for what they do in a Vale shirt as that's all that matters to us.

I'm just glad we have finally started to get some new faces through the door as the majority of the current lot have proved time and time again this season that they can't cut it, particularly away from home.
