Lets be honest here and not over egg the pudding

* Engagement of fans excellent match day experience generated- fan engagement, like a supporters club and foundation to attract young fans...which we have?

* lower season ticket prices attendances has nearly doubled- season tickets have been lowered before and very little change in up take

* cheaper walk in prices- tried and hasnt worked so put back up

* Atmosphere generated with Huddersfield loyal flags and drums hence Bycar's loyal. Who is stopping anyone from doing that?

* Forward thinking manager good contacts proven track record forward thinking? like bringing in players who have played abroad who are technically good footballers and change the kick and run style of play maybe? be careful forward thinking isnt always great and doesnt always move you forward as we have seen.

* Effective permanent and loan signings not smurf signing players- effective? or good players, good players cost money...

* Terriers identity attractive football- club identities apart from the elite clubs are a load of tosh, look at where Crewes has got them...

An almost unbelievable ability to spin things. Is Alastair Campbell a Vale fan?

The clubs a mess and presenting them like this won't get us anywhere.

The supporters club and foundation are non-entities.

When was cheaper walk in prices consistently enforced?

Flags and a drum wouldn't improve the atmosphere at Vale, too empty, too far from the away fans, not enough quality on the pitch.

"Technically good footballers" is one of the most hilarious statements I've heard this week. Mbamba, Mac-intosh, and Cicilia are some of the most technically deficient footballers I've seen in a Vale shirt. And forward-thinking doesn't equal tippy-tappy. Huddersfield were fairly direct against us.

Alnwick and Streete are what I would consider good players. They didn't cost us anything. Neither did Josh Morris, top scorer for 2nd place Scunny. There's good players about everywhere if we hadn't blown our budget on *****.

I don't really know what a club identity is, but if you mean long-term planning, its gone pretty well for Huddersfield and Burton, to name a couple.

Another happy positive thread the day before a game.. Really what is the point!

I feel for the decent posters on here. Get yourself on Twitter where there is much more positive news to follow rather than this tripe.

So your happy to plod on not challenge the status quo

Happy clapper of the first order. I think the 10 in his user name is his IQ.

Under your own admission you don't contribute anything to the Vale so your opinion means nothing

lets not start digging at posters eh

Whatever a posters "IQ" is or whatever "contribution" they make doesnt bar them from having an opinion and sharing it here

Atmosphere is the roar of the crowd when your team are enthusiastically attacking your opponents goal, especially if you are a goal down.

Exactly. Atmosphere is created by the team having a go, getting stuck in and sustained attacking play. There's been lots of games this season where we rarely attacked the opponents goal and not at all in the first half. New (temporary) manager now trying to change it, increase players fitness and stamina and address the problems in the team. It takes time to change. Two massive games this week (hopefully today will be on). Hopefully the team will give us something positive on the pitch to vocally support and get behind. Reggie having a go on his own has got a response from fans. He's clearly not the best footballer but willingness to have a go and make things happen gets a response from the crowd. 7 or 8 players with this attitude and approach will soon gets the fans up for it again. We all desperately want to enjoy the match and slaughter the opposition!

The truth is the opening post. Huddersfield have a clear vision & strategy that they have actioned successfully over the last 3 years ..

We have smurf

Port Vale have never had one and League Two could beckon. We need look at some other clubs of relatble size, or smaller. Such as Burton and Bournmouth. But Vale fans will get scared we might have to leave Vale Park and get decent match day facilities.
