The players 1st half are a bunch of bottlers! Page is too predictable as well, millwall knowingly go into the game knowing that page never changes a winning team, then when half if not 3/4 do not turn up well it's game over!!!!

 

Let's face facts that this bunch of players do not have the bottle to go any further in this league - that 1st half showing they should lose their days off, disgraceful and disrespectful to the travelling fans.

Page needs to mix it up one week. I remember Adams throwing Williamson and hugill up front for a game away at crawley I think , and we won 3-1 ,this when Pope was on fire.

 

It stops the other side from planning to stop you, we are too predictable. Same formation, same tactics and usually the same personnel every week. The other team can work all week on stopping us and picking out our faults as we do the same thing week in week out.

Said many times before the game two up top was the way to go. We looked threatening with AJ and JJ up top, they worked well together. Really bad though today, Daniel is not a league 1 footballer, and I expect better from both full backs than what they showed today. Oconnor and brown did decent enough in the second half especially. I just dont see what the plan is away from home?!?!? Were setting up really negatively with one up top, AJ wont win any headers against two giants so how to we expect to keep pressure of us? Surely the plan therefore is to get the wide men on the ball and get in behind AJ. Well that aint going to happen as long as Daniel and Moore are on, shocking the both of them.

 

Overall, negative and utter rubbish. Hopefully the goal for Hooper is a real boost though.

Simply not good enough. Vale didn't deserve a single one of those fans that went for their first half performance.

 

I've never known a manager base his entire team selection simply on whether the team won the previous game or not.

Take away the Bury and Blackpool results (two teams on bad runs) and our form is pretty bad. Would love to see Page just go for it away from home, as what have we got to lose!

I'm just looking forward to next season with a reduced playing budget and Smurf still in charge.

Don't blame page or backroom staff, we will hit them with pace, then the players come out to play like snails from the kick off too many players don't want to play just pick up a wage till there contracts almost run out, then they will start playing again to get a new one which they will get.
