Wasn't a fan of willo but surely deserves a clap as he never moaned even with all the stick he got, he also played for free through admin. Not the best of players at all but I fail to see how he deserves to be booed.

He'll certainly get an applause from me. What has he ever done or said what warrants any sort of abuse?

Now this is coming off someone who has never been a massive Duffy fan but he does not deserve to lose his place in the side,...

Quite agree! Duffy was only slightly edged out as my MOM choice against Burnley - I thought he was excellent. And we have Inniss on season-long, so there will be occasions when either Duffy or Streete won't play. As far as I can see, it's a great position to be in, having all 3 vying for 2 places, so we could even risk a bit of rotation? I wouldn't play Dodds - I'm not usually one of his detractors, but I thought the Burnley game passed him by, for large periods. I would risk Daniel for 45, then swap with Uche...both partnering AJ, who I would then take off after 55 - 60 to give JJ a shot. For impact alone, having to change the game to combat Uche, then having to re-adapt for JJ could just give us a couple of goals? But, it's great having these options...some sensible recruitment through the summer seems to be paying off...and I would start with Enoch Andoh - very exciting talent!

I'll admit, I was one of the ones clamouring for Page to play Innis and Streete together, I just couldn't see why he'd play Duffy when he was part of the woeful defence from last year.

However, I'm happy to be proved wrong. Duffy has been immense so far, didn't see him at Crewe but he was like a new signing V Burnley, very assured and snuffed out ex-Premier League players including a Welsh international. After that performance and two clean sheets, there's no way he's losing his place.

As for "Innis and Streete are the future", we only have Innis until January at the moment don't we? So in reality, Streete and Duffy are the future.

Very nice position to be in though, having three quality players pushing for two places means that none of them can be complacent, injuries won't affect us and we could even rotate based on requirements (Innis against a big man, Streete against someone pacey). What a difference from last year!!

Tough game today.Gills have started with 2 wins. The eye opener being 4-0 against Sheffield Utd.At the moment I'm not too bothered who starts between Inniss,Duffy and Streete.I think most teams in League 1 would love the options we have.2-1 Vale.

After seeing the goals that Sheffield United conceded last Saturday, we need to be on the money defending set pieces.

Egan came up from the back and scored last week and he scored against us at Priestfield last season as well.
