That is a weird comment by yourself (much like your avatar), you totally misunderstand the point. The sentence refers to his successor and as Sepp Blatter is now history it's irrelevant whether Sepp Blatter was or wasn't or is or isn't politically correct.

exactly, that's why i was questioning the fact that we need a "clean sweep" with "no political correctness"

 

My point was that we've just had a FIFA leader who wasn't politically correct and look where it got us..not that I am suggesting that they should asppoint anyone obsessed with political correctness.

 

But seriously the new chap/chapess needs to run FIFA openly, honestly..as well as actually doing a good job in terms of administration, strategy etc.

 

'best man for the job' indeed ;)

Off topic I know - but wasn't Dixon also known as PC49?

 

Don't think so Barry,P.C. 49 was based on the career of Police Constable Archibald Berkeley-Willoughby",created by Australian Allan Stranks and played by Brian Reece in over 100 episodes on BBC radio from 1947 till 1953.
