I would welcome him back at Vale Park, he was clearly swayed by a big pay rise , although I can't blame him for that, if he would have stayed here his alround game would have improved

 

Agreed. Far better prospect than Campion and would be an asset to the squad.

Extremely harsh on campion who needs a pre season.

 

As for hugill I don't want him back and I don't see why anyone would. Jumped at the first opportunity and wasn't that good. Prefer have a player who wants to play for us rather than one who throws Adams faith back in his faith by moving ASAP.

Tranmere is my local team and the second team I support after Port Vale.

 

"Tranmere made a change at the start of the second half with Lee Molyneux replacing Jordan Hugill". Tranmere 1 Burton 4 Saturday 21 March 2015.

 

I was at that game. I was not satisfied with Hugill, I thought he was not trying. The next month he moves on loan to Hartlepool where he seems to have tried a bit harder.

 

I don't wish to see him associated with Port Vale. Looking this objectively, and unemotionally, he went on loan to the bottom team in League 2 and the 3rd bottom team in League 2. He isn't good enough for League 1.

 

I can see Campion has a good touch and seems to have come in to the team in difficult games against the best league 1 opposition. He has promise and tried his socks off against MK Dons.

Another example of this ridiculous fixation with getting ex-Vale players back into the club, rarely a good idea, even less likely to work when they left with bad feeling. I don't want him back at any price.

 

And I doubt if Tone has ever seen him play. L2 at best, if he is lucky.

You wouldn't know.

 

But, frankly speaking, I was suggesting that he could do a job at Hartlepool's level.

The problem is was the contract we offered a poor one? We will probably never know. If it was how can anyone blame him for leaving.
