Tickets £20 adults, it just says pay on the day, doesn't say if that's cash turnstiles or purchase tickets from ticket office.

Given our woeful current form confidence levels for this one are not great so it has to be seen as one where we need to battle to avoid defeat and personally I think that means taking the game to Rochdale and attacking because our defending is so poor it'll be a minor miracle if we keep a clean sheet. I think Page paid the price for his negative starting line up against Colchester and he has to change Birchall for Coubailly and, if Pope really isn't fully fit, Williamson for Campion (or anyone with more aggression than a squashed hamster like Williamson). All the players will have to see themselves as defenders because leaving it to the centre midfielders and back four will just guarantee more of the same. Across the back four I can't see an obvious answer to our problems other than maybe play three centre halves and only one out & out forward because IMHO Robertson, Vaselli, Duffy and Collins are all dodgy. Apart from Duffy who wasn't playing all the others had a part in Colchester's goals with Vaselli and Collins managing to both contribute to the first.

Whichever way we wrap it up now we're desperate for points. I just hope we can stay up and I didn't expect to be feeling like this a month ago even though we could see the problems then.

Marshall, Coulibali plus others assisting Campion might result in getting a point or three? Alternatively, stick with Birchall and Willow which will result in no goals for the Vale.

 

Vale MUST score at least one goal because Rochdale are sure to score against Vales hopeless defence.

Well we have stuck with the notion of "now is not the time to throw in inexperienced players" & it aint working so how about taking a gamble page?? how about growing some & actually giving youth a chance??

Let's be honest we know that whoever plays in defence we will still look dodgy and more than likely concede, I'd be tempted to go 3 at the back Vesseli/Robertson/Mcgivern or Collins and a midfield 5 of Marshall/Brown/Dodds/O'connor/Daniel and Campion or Pope with Coubialy up front, let's try something different but no doubt we'll carry on with the same old tired tactics/players!
