What I think is quite interesting is just how much people are guided by their initial opinion of someone. Page wasn't the most popular choice at the time of his appointment. If you compare the first 22 games of Page's reign (he currently has a 41% win ratio), with the first 22 of Micky Adams (27%), I wonder how many people were calling for Micky's head at the time? I honestly don't know the answer to that but I presume, given the dross he replaced and the fact he was such a popular choice, that he was getting far less stick than Page is right now. I've said it many times just recently, but Page simply cannot win with some people.

 

Page has a better squad at his disposal. I still think we should be doing better than we are as we're just not getting the best out of certain players. Under Page we've been beating teams we really should be beating, when is the last time we got a good, unexpected win? I can also say in the last few games I've seen with him in charge that we were very fortunate to win 2 of the games we did as we didn't deserve to. I think a couple of fortunate results under him have just painted over the cracks somewhat myself.

Do you go to games? The ref was horrendous against bradford. We deserved a draw at least, i can only guess you missed that game.

Lets face it, what you know about football could be written on a fly's backside in capital letters. You slate everything to do with vale from players, fans, management and owners yet seem to think because you go to the games this makes you a top critic. In reality you dont have a clue and probably think because you won the cup once on football manager you can do a better job than the current lot, in fact it wouldnt surprise me if you thought you could do a better job than the players because you won a game on fifa once.

 

I dont know where apparent fans like you get this idea we should walk over every side we play.
