Totally agree Ben the two signings are no better than what we have already got.

The 10.30pm signing last night hints at desperation and the lad will end up warming the bench before he returns back to Hull.

If we are really looking to the future the squad needs trimming of dead wood even if it means getting rid of two players to keep Popey.

Luckily Barnsley did not follow up their threat of signing him before the deadline.

We seem to have a good player in Campion already if Pagey will give him a fair run instead of keeping him on the bench.

To my mind Page is no real improvement on Adams as the same favourites play week in week out and the same problems appear week after week.

What a shame that Remi Street has moved on to Rangers as he showed his class when he was finally given a chance.

We all know his vision for the vale he has said it often enough he wants to take us in the championship have some faith in the man to do it myself and 4 other members of family have already renewed season tickets like yourself.

 

So have I renewed not because of Norman but because of my love for Port Vale for the last 50 years so if I have a concern I will raise it.

With all due respect, how do you know if the new signings are better than current players? Have you seen them play ?

Have you seen Campion for more than 30 minutes or so?

And how could Barnsley have signed Pope without Vale agreeing (threat ?)

Talking to the sports editor of the Worthing Herald this morning, he saw Luer score a hat-trick for Burgess Hill against Worthing on Boxing Day. Thought he looked useful, quick and with a good shot, but that was against Worthing, whose defence isn't the greatest. Different level altogether in Lg 1, but for Hull to let him go out on loan so soon suggests they are confident he is ready for the next stage of his development.

I am trying to highlight the silliness of your post, pull yourself together man and get behind the lads. We have lost two games by very close margins and you suddenly expect us to be relegated, have you forgotten we beat Sheffield utd, peterborough and rochdale in the last couple of months, all sides in and around the play offs. Let alone comfortably beating Yeovil, Leyton orient, colchester and crawley this season, the current bottom four.
