Winding up order?

I wouldn't say that yet.

There is a petition by CH to strike off PVFC Ltd at the end of June. Presumably that's because the last set of accounts were 3 months overdue (which will cost Norman £750 I think).

If the company is dormant then fair enough but then there's another thing on CH which confirms that the strike off has been suspended. Either the directors of the company (ie Norman) have objected and wants the company to remain active, or a creditor has objected on the basis they are still owed money.

HMRC obviously believe that they are owed money by the Football Club last season. They served PVFC Ltd with a writ to that effect in May.

The question now is what knock on effect this will have with the newco in the eyes of the Football League.

If you strike off you don't have to pay the fine.

Has this been discharged then?

My concern is that when other football clubs make clerical errors, they don't seem to end with transfer embargoes or winding up orders. Just us.

Norman seems to have an answer for everything, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

No point hassling Lee Blakeman about this, it's Norman's tangled web of companies, all Lee did was report what was in the public domain.

Smurf claims it won't affect the club at all, the Sentinel have tweeted.

Thank the Lord, but, again, this is another example of the club being run unprofessionally.

If it doesn't affect the club , then its nothing to do with the club, so how can it be being run unprofessionally?

To give Norman some credit, his prompt statement pretty much answers the question....assuming it's correct.

It's just concerning that there appear to be so many issues through admin errors, unprofessionalism etc....it's a little scary at times

I think it's more Norman (who everyone sees as being 'the club') who seems to be the catalyst of all the ongoing issues

He was looking for stardom...."hey boss look what I have unearthed"....Should be banned from Vale Park for a long, long time.

I wouldn't say that...he tweeted what he saw and a few hours later it's been put to bed....the fact that HMRC issued the notice suggested that it was the active company as you wouldn't expect a dormant company to have tax debts. There was obviously an error by the club when transferring everything across and this has now been sorted

Yes, but he reported it incorrectly. He said the winding order was against Port Vale. He didn't check that PVFC Limited is nothing to do with Port Vale anymore. At this time when we are trying to sign players, it was a careless, even dangerous, tweet.

Its Smurfs mess.

I don't know who owns what anymore. Alchemy, PVFC Limited, Port Vale Football Club Limited, Wildes, Smurf. Someone owns the ground and someone owns the club.

Someone has ballsed up, and it'd be far easier if Smurf hadn't made such a mess.

I'm not saying the bill issue is Smurf's fault, just that he's been here 5 minutes and the company is here, there and everywhere.
