kelvyn Mellor has just signed for Plymouth which must mean Durell Berry is on his way out.....?

 

I think Durrel berry has already been released by plymouth because he didn't want to sign his new contract. and he has interests from a number of league one clubs and league two clubs.

Seems strange that Plymouth released him when they could have tried to get some sort of fee for him, with him being under 24 (in the same way that we did with Morsy last Summer). Born in Derby, and having been through Villa's Academy, he'd perhaps prefer a move back to The Midlands.

 

Is this Darcy Blake mainly a right-back/centre-back/holding midfielder, as I've seen him described as a defender that can also play in midfield?

 

I'm pleased that we are being linked with right backs, as we need better in that area.

Apparently he used to play in defence for cardiff city i think so i would say he is more experienced as a defender but i aren't sure... and maybe durrell wants to move back to midlands again who knows... but yeah i am also pleased we are looking at right backs as well :).

Wish I hadn't looked. Makes depressing reading. Not always the best way to judge a player, though I wonder how many times he has been watched and by who.
