When Billy comes from that neck of the woods, this would have been a really easy decision for the lad.

Hang on, surely players contracts run until the end of June and so they won't be deciding where to go until these contracts run out.......or at least that's what some deluded know-alls on here have been spouting when trying to shout down anyone that questioned the slow rebuilding of the squad.

Careful, you'll get shouted out with that assumption. Those in the know on here aren't fussed with this contact situation as it's doing no harm apparently, see if they think the same once loft and lines go as well.

You won't hear anything this week, Adams is on his charity cycle. No news is good news, Dicko signed, there's a few lads on Doddsys stag so it's pointless stressing as nothing is going on.

As for players, not worried one bit, plenty of good lads getting released. Surely we've learned from the past that signing the first player available isn't always the best option.

That what he said about working with Dicko sounds god,sounds positive.But he also said that were no issues with his new contract,it was with his solicitors,it would be signed soon.We are now told that this soon will be another two week's.

Dont blame Adams dont blame Norman for me it lies with the 1300 fans who failed to renew STs forcing us to lower the playing budget. Norman has done is bit now those of you fannying about waiting for god knows what get your STs now and create a budget that enables us to compete with the Bradfords of the league. No doubt you will be the first to complain when we are outbid in the market.

If they do leave it won't be because Adams as yet to sign his contract. It'l be because it's either a bigger club with better prospects, better wages or an easier location to travel to. Do you really think Loft, Lines or any of the players are going to turn around to Adams & say i'm not signing because i don't believe you will in a couple of weeks? Don't think so. If Adams knows he's staying (indications point that way) then the players will know it too because he would of told them, don't you think?

A player in Billy's position has every right to consider his options, and weigh up which offer gives him the best prospect of furthering his career. He will certainly be influenced by pay, length of contract, convenience, club ambition and prospects. I thank him for his efforts while on loan and wish him well in his future career.

Only those who could afford an ST but decide they would prefer to come on here and moan rather than commit to financially supporting the club. There is absolutely no reason why we couldnt have had an increased playing budget next season. With finishing just outside the playoffs you would expect an in crease in ST sales and where finances permit existing ST holders to renew. So 5000 ST holders plus Norman's 25% should have been a minimum.
