I would imagine that given we have now exited from contracts with Ticketmaster and Sondico that Paul Wildes agreed, his signature maybe needed to officially terminate the contracts.

That's unlikely because the deals would have been with the club as it is a legal entity and not the individuals. If Paul Wildes is no longer registered as a director than his signature is not needed

 

I think other business ventures are the most likely explanation. I don't think who says what in the press is important (mainly because it's generally no more than hear say) and the fact of the matter is, that Paul & Smurf have made each other a lot of money int he past

I know the guy who says he saw Paul Wildes and he does not lie, he is just informing that he had seen him that is all.
