Smurf's made some comments in the Sentinel. I've just read them on my phone.Reckons that we're no longer part of Alchemy.

 

If that is the case then he needs to inform Companies House because the last Annual Return for PVFC Ltd submitted on 24 February still lists Alchemy Securities as the sole shareholder.

Is Alchemy purely involved in the business of Port Vale football (ie no other investments, interests etc within those companies)?....If there are other interests it may be means of 'pulling' Port Vale away from the alchemy group and into a different entity?...ie when selling or marketing to sell etc

 

Alchemy Investment Group has a lot of companies attached to it but I suspect that you may be right about pulling Port Vale away from the group. I did try to ask Norman if this was the reason the new Port Vale Football Club Ltd had been set up but didn't really get an answer. He went on about how splitting the club and ground was the best thing that ever happened yet he was quote in the Coventry Telegraph as saying the reason why he didn't invest in Coventry was because the club and ground were split and that was no way to run a football club! The difference at Vale is that the same bloke owns both companies which isn't the case at Coventry.
