With Walsall, Mk, and Peterborough to play before the end of the season, you could almost say it's I our own hands !!! Makes you look back and wonder 'what if' though....Bradford last kick, Coventry 2 up, and the odd dire performance, we really could have been in the mix !!!! 6th place look like finishing 20 points behind 5th, but you just never know...

Peterborough play at home to Colchester tonight and away at Wolves Saturday... if Colchester can pull off a shock win tonight then the table starts looking interesting. I think we'd have to win 5/6 to stand any chance, so in my opinion, a little too much. We just need stay in touching distance for as long as possible to keep up the interest and improve revenue from gate receipts. We should also be thinking about seeding for the league cup next year....

Anyways, think we will win this. 2-0 Vale.

Should have pack the home end day charge really low prices and get someone, anyone in them seats.

Saying that once the end is soldout ( bycars ) then u pay usual prices everywhere else.

Football chairman r so short sighted especially at a club like Vale where if I was in charge id have all kinds of tasty offers on offer.

For example pay what u can afford day ,obviously for a adult no less than 7 quid under 18 4 quid etc etc.

Or in our chairmans case and lots of other short sighted chairmans book 500 paying 22quid or whatever it is .

Instead id have 120000 people paying what they can afford and all the food, drink and a lot.more programmes sold.

Plus a rocking atmosphere as all types in societycould afford be there not just the well to do .

Norman, we're gonna need a bigger ground!

VFIA Id love to see us pack out the Bycars but offers like you have suggested are very limited, due to de-valuing season tickets.

Also Id have liked to have seen prices for the Bycars start at around £18 next season then maybe increasing up in price the later you leave it to buy a ticket, I know other clubs do that.

It baffles me as to why Micky and Norman aren't playing on the fact that we are just 4 points away from the playoffs as opposed to simply commenting that we are 'safe'!....I'm a realist...and I understand our position...but so many fans want to feel that hope and belief that it is still possible...surely playing on that is good PR heading towards to end of the season...surely that would encourage people and motivate people to turn up and support the team/purchase season tickets??

Instead we have two men that just appear to be passionless and miserable!!...and that attitude is working its way down to the fans...

It's all very strange...

The only problem is that Hamil road prices would have to be the same for away fans. What could be done is to charge a premium price for the big games, and suffer losses on games with much fewer away fans. There could well be a case for charging less for some evening games. The only way is to try a few thingxs to test the market, upto Norman really now he has settled into the job, we will have to wait and see what his re-org is all about.

does he want to sell tickets or what? look at the Burton game last year, I know circumstances are different but its all about creating a buzz and building momentum.

Actually agree with you, atmosphere should hopefully rally the players up a bit and Smurf should do some kind of deal to get fans into the ground for this one. Either what you suggest or just a reduced 1 off price in Bycars. Or do what I think they did last season in making an offer for 2 matches, the walsall game and MK Dons game with a few quid off as a pair possibly?
